AIDS has already had significant repercussions on populations and economies worldwide. The increasing number of people becoming infected with HIV means that the impact will only get worse – both in the UK and abroad.
Everyone needs to realise that it is now time to declare a personal commitment to fighting the global pandemic.
In support of the World AIDS Campaign (WAC) and the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) we are promoting the internationally recognised theme of ‘Make the Promise’ throughout 2008.
This theme has been developed to provide the opportunity for individuals and organisations to get involved and make their voices heard as part of a new global movement in the fight against HIV and AIDS.
We have developed an innovative and striking range of resources covering this theme to help you in your awareness-raising efforts that we know you will find invaluable. Our posters, leaflets and info cards are visually engaging and informative, whilst our very popular collection boxes (containing 200 Red Ribbons) and trendy Red Ribbon wristbands have already assisted organisations all over the UK and Europe with their fundraising initiatives.
The added benefit to our 'Make the Promise' range of resources is that they are specific to World AIDS Day, AND also every other day of the year too. In practical terms what this means is that following 1st December you won't have to discard materials that focus solely on this date, but instead be able to continue your awareness-raising efforts with the help of these products.
Stand proud and count yourself amongst the millions around the world who care and support those living with and/or affected by HIV and AIDS. Why not make your first promise TODAY by:
